We created Micros Gourmet to celebrate the incredible nutritional benefits of Microgreens and to inspire you to utilize them in your everyday meals. We have three little ones of our own and were always brain storming ways to get nutritious foods into their growing bodies. That’s when we started looking into microgreens and learned that some actually contain about five times more vitamins than their mature plant counterpart. Beyond that, there are actually so many health benefits of eating microgreens, so we started adding them to our everyday meals; pasta dishes, pizza, sandwiches and smoothies.
With over 12 years of experience in the culinary industry and 10 years’ experience in horticulture we started growing our own microgreens in 2022 and Micros Gourmet was born.
